Book a call

Find out in thirty minutes whether your delivery problem is fixable

For owners of marketing and web development agencies carrying more client work than one person can hold, and a technical operation they never planned to run.

What I do

Run the technical side of agencies that do not have a CTO

Who for

Agencies with more client sites than one person can hold

How it works

Embedded on retainer, not project by project

Right now

Taking on new agencies this quarter

The things you would rather not have to ask

Will you try to sell me something?

No pitch. If there is a fit I put the offer live in your portal, priced and scoped, next to the answers you already gave me. Accept it there when you are ready and the agreements, system access and any rebuild approvals all run from the same place.

What is the call actually for?

Working out whether what is going wrong is a people problem, a process problem or a technical one. Often it is not the one you think.

What if I am not ready to commit?

Most people are not. Nobody has ever been asked for a decision on this call.

Who am I talking to?

Me. There is no sales team and no account executive.

How long is it?

Thirty minutes, and it ends at thirty minutes.

What do I need to have ready?

Nothing. Knowing roughly how many sites you run and who touches them helps.

What we cover

  1. What is breaking, in your words, uninterrupted
  2. How work actually moves through your agency today
  3. Where the exposure sits: one person, one system, or the margin
  4. What I would do first, whether or not it is with me
  5. Whether this is a fit, said out loud, on the call

Probably not for you if

  • You want someone to write the code rather than run the operation.
  • You are not trying to grow. A number two is overhead if the plan is to stay the same size.
  • You already know the answer and want a second opinion to wave at a board.

Tell me about your agency

Three questions so the call starts somewhere useful rather than with me asking what you do.
